About AMCK
Yes, there is a warm human behind this website. AMCK is me, Anne McKinsey, owner of AMCK Web and Print. Since 2004, I've been developing websites and working as a freelance graphic designer.
In 1986, after earning a master's degree in Fine Art, I plunged into typesetting and graphics on computers—it was early days for those machines! That was followed by many years of living in Great Britain and finally returning to New England and settling in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom (beautiful).
I have taught Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop, was the recipient of a $1200 grant in 2006 for marketing materials from the Vermont Women's Business Center, and remain a happy member of the Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network (WREN) in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
My favorite graphics applications include Adobe Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Flash, Acrobat. I run both an iMac and PC and enjoy the challenges of ever increasing my knowledge base.
