WHAT WE DO
Search engine optimization (SEO) is as important as the website itself. While we cannot guarantee a page one search engine ranking, we do everything possible to help your site rank high:
- Web Page Titles: Titles appear at the top of the browser window and we ensure each page has a unique title in proper keyword syntax with your key search terms.
- Alt Tags/Image Titles: We include keywords in image file names as well as in all image alt tags (example: keyword.jpg).
- URL Depth: We don't bury web pages inside of numerous directories.
- No Frames: We never use frames—their content is not read by spiders.
- We write only W3C-validated HTML/CSS code.
- All images and other file types are optimized for fast downloading.
- Key search phrases for your website: We discuss with you the most likely search words/phrases people will use to search for your type of business or product.
- Web Page Content: Search engine spiders crawl websites every few days and read the HTML code and page text. We make sure your key search phrases are sprinkled liberally throughout your text (without sounding redundant).
- Keywords are strategically placed in headlines, as bold type, etc because the code for these is weighted more heavily by spiders.
- Web Page Description/Keywords (Meta Tags): Uniquely different description tags are included on each web page and strong keyword/phrase tags are added to every web page.
- We submit your website to Google, Yahoo and Bing.
- Link to your Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter pages.
- Put a SHARE link on your pages so users can add your site to their social media pages.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Plan to update your website regularly. Be sure that outdated material is promptly removed. Spiders crawl websites every few days and if your website has frequent changes that will help its ranking. You can perform updates and text edits yourself or AMCK is happy to take care of this for you.
- Post articles on your website. Articles convey to your viewers that you are a thought leader on your subject and so they are more likely to return to your website. And, by archiving your old articles on your site, you will develop a cache of strong, keyword-rich content—this will help your ranking.
- Submit articles to websites to increase the number of links to your website (more about this below). There are numerous websites you can submit articles to for free and here are just a few; when you submit articles be sure to include a hyperlink to your website:
- Idea Marketers
- Easy Articles.com

- Make Use of Your Visitor Statistics. Use Google Analytics stats to learn more about your website users, how they find your site, most viewed web pages, etc.

BROADCAST YOUR WEBSITE
- Get your website address across the internet. Be sure to invest time into contacting top-ranking websites and ask them to link to you. It is customary to do reciprocal links. And, make sure you get your website listed with online business directories.
- Then, find out who links to your website with Link Popularity.
- Include your website address on everything, including your business card, letterhead, the signature at the bottom of your emails (with hyperlink), etc.
- Web pages show up on search engine results as sponsored listings (usually down the right-hand column or on the very top of the results list) and as organic listings (the long list that can spread over dozens of pages). Sponsored listings are paid for and organic lists are determined by a number of factors, including the popularity of web pages and the amount of keyword-rich content. Here are three sponsored-listing solutions:
Google AdWords
Yahoo! Sponsored Search
Yahoo! Directory Submit
